Grid Manager (m/f/d)

In this role, you will make a significant contribution to the successful implementation of the energy transition: You will ensure that our large-scale battery storage projects in the high- and extra-high voltage range are successfully connected to the grid – economically viable, technically reliable, and in line with regulatory requirements. While working closely with internal and external stakeholders, you will take on a central role at the interface between project development and network operators.

Aufgaben

• Establishment and maintenance of strong relationships to German DSOs and TSOs
• Negotiation of grid connection conditions and ensuring final grid connection agreements
• Control of technical and electrical studies, as well as ensuring compliance with relevant grid codes and technical standards
• Definition and coordination of suitable measurement concepts in accordance with DSO/TSO requirements
• Support for engineering and construction teams during planning, testing, and commissioning
• Active shaping of our grid strategy through market-, infrastructure- and regulatory monitoring
• Establishment of standardized processes as well as professional support for younger colleagues

Qualifikation

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology or a comparable field
• Multiple years of work experience in the area of grid connections / Grid Connection, ideally in the context of renewable energies or at a DSO/TSO
• Very good knowledge of HV/EHV networks, connection conditions and technical standards in Germany
• Experience in managing grid connection processes with German network operators
• Structured, responsible work style as well as excellent stakeholder and project management skills
• Travel readiness as well as a valid driver's license
• Very good German and English language skills in writing and speaking
• Pleasure working in a dynamic environment, hands-on mentality and a proactive, collaborative work style
