- Identifying suitable grid capacities and regions with high connection probability using tools like Blindleister and Glint Solar.
- Closely communicating with distribution and transmission network operators (VNB/ÜNB) and taking over the interface function between project development, EPC, legal, and external service providers.
- Coordination of tenders and awards for network connection works, including technical specifications.
- Coordination of the construction process of network infrastructure and interface management to partners, experts, and authorities.
- Ensuring compliance with technical standards (VDE, FNN, DVGW etc.) and all relevant network connection guidelines.
- Preliminary preparation and review of permits/applications, including those according to § 8 (grid connection claim) and § 11 EnWG (expansion and optimization obligation for the grid).
- Supporting the acquisition and due diligence teams through technical evaluation of new PV projects.
- BUILDING AND MAINTAINING A COMPLETE, AUDITABLE PROJECT DOCUMENTATION.
- Monitoring legislative and technological developments (Grid Compliance) and building internal expertise.
- Supporting the operations and engineering team with technical questions.

PROFILE
- Completed studies in electrical engineering, energy technology or a comparable engineering discipline.
- Multiple years of experience in planning or implementing network connections for PV projects or other large-scale electric installations (≥ 10 MW).
- Very good knowledge of network connection rules, technical standards (VDE/FNN) and relevant legislative provisions.
- A strong network and reliable contacts to regional and supra-regional distribution and transmission network operators.
- Experience in technical project management and cooperation with network operators.
- Structured, self-reliant, and reliable working style – even in dynamic project phases.
- High problem-solving competence, team orientation, and proactive work approach.
- High IT/digital affinity and safe handling of digital analysis tools.
- Solid German language skills in writing and speaking; English language skills are an asset.
- Passion for the energy transition and working in a growing, innovative company.
