Summary

A critical technical role managing the complex AEMO and NSP connection process for major renewable energy projects. Bridge the gap between technical design and grid compliance.

About the Role

• Lead the registration and commissioning process.

• Manage the development of Generator Performance Standards.

• Liaise directly with AEMO and NSPs.

• Review and interpret PSS/E and PSCAD modeling outputs from consultants.

• Mitigate technical risks related to system strength and network congestion.

Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (Power Systems focus).

• Expert knowledge of National Electricity Rules (NER)

• Hands-on experience with power system software (PSS/E, PSCAD, or PowerFactory).

• Strong negotiation skills to navigate technical requirements with network providers.
