Grid Connection Engineer | Renewable Energy

Summary
A critical technical role managing the complex AEMO and NSP connection process for major renewable energy projects. Bridge the gap between technical design and grid compliance.
About the Role
Lead the registration and commissioning process.
Manage the development of Generator Performance Standards.
Liaise directly with AEMO and NSPs.
Review and interpret PSS/E and PSCAD modeling outputs from consultants.
Mitigate technical risks related to system strength and network congestion.
Skills & Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (Power Systems focus).
Expert knowledge of National Electricity Rules (NER)
Hands-on experience with power system software (PSS/E, PSCAD, or PowerFactory).
Strong negotiation skills to navigate technical requirements with network providers.
