Green Areas & Landscaping Manager

We have a presence in 35 countries and our headquarters are in Palma… **Mission of the position:** The Green Areas & Landscaping Manager will be responsible for defining the strategy for the maintenance and enhancement of green areas and landscaping in Iberostar hotels, ensuring the highest quality standards and promoting environmental sustainability. **Main responsibilities:** * Develop and implement landscaping and green area maintenance strategies, in line with company standards and sustainability goals. * Manage and supervise the landscaping teams, ensuring the efficient execution of maintenance and improvement tasks. * Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiating prices and ensuring the quality of materials and services. * Prepare and manage the budgets related to green areas and landscaping. * Carry out inspections and audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and environmental regulations. * Propose and implement innovative solutions to improve the aesthetics and functionality of green areas. * Monitor and control the use of resources (water, fertilizers, etc.) to minimize environmental impact. * Collaborate with other departments (e.g., hotel management, sustainability) to integrate green area initiatives into the overall hotel strategy. * Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in landscaping and green area management. **Requirements:** * Bachelor's degree in Agronomy, Environmental Engineering, Landscape Architecture, or related fields. * Proven experience of at least 5 years in a similar position, preferably in the hotel industry. * Deep knowledge of landscaping techniques, plant care, and irrigation systems. * Experience in managing teams and suppliers. * Excellent organizational, planning, and communication skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Knowledge of environmental regulations and sustainability practices. * Proficiency in English and Spanish (desirable). **What we offer:** * Competitive salary. * Opportunities for professional development and growth within the company. * Be part of a leading and growing company in the hotel industry. * Dynamic and international work environment. * Other benefits depending on the location.
