Graphic Designer - Focus on Layout & Design (m/f/d)

Hi, we are GHOST OFFICE, the implementation agency from Berlin.

We take over where colleagues from creative agencies and marketing departments like to hand off. When the creative main idea is established and it's about carrying it forward with design flair and technical precision.

Specifically, this means: we usually start at the point where the creation is finalized and expertise in design development and layout adaptation, final artwork, and technical and operational implementation is required.

And this is exactly where we need you – with a keen sense for layout and design and the technical skill for final artwork and adaptation.

Your role with us:

You understand design AND technical implementation. You develop convincing layouts based on customer CI and creative specifications. You utilize creative leeway within given layouts and adapt them confidently for different formats and media. At the same time, you master final artwork and technical implementation – and ensure that clean, production-ready advertising materials are created from the layouts.

Tasks

We are looking for you if…

• you are at home in design, layout creation, and creative layout adaptation, independently develop convincing layouts, and can prove this with meaningful references,
• you also confidently master tasks such as typesetting and final artwork, image editing, and prepress, and cleanly implement your designs into production-ready files,
• you can confidently navigate our clients' corporate design guidelines, recognizing creative leeway and utilizing it with a sense for typography, layout, and visual language,
• you know the technical specifications that need to be considered in daily work with different print, digital, or image formats and production workflows,
• you can handle multiple jobs simultaneously each day and that tight deadlines or daily re-planned production processes do not unnerve you, and that even the tenth revision step from the client still motivates you.

Qualification

You bring with you…

• extensive professional experience as a graphic designer or media designer, ideally in an agency with multiple clients and a focus on design, layout, final artwork, and adaptation
• expertise and confidence in using Adobe applications such as InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
• a strong sense for layout, typography, and visual language, as well as the ability to develop independent design solutions based on client specifications (CI) and technical requirements
• confidence in final artwork and technical implementation, as well as a passion for detail
• team spirit, strong communication skills, and a pronounced customer and service orientation
