Job description
Shaping the World of Collectible Albums
Do you love strong layouts, expressive images, and products you can actually hold in your hands? Then help us create collectible albums that inspire people and accompany them for years to come.
At stickerfive, we develop and produce individual sticker collectible albums for professional and amateur sports, as well as for companies, institutions, and special theme worlds. We accompany our projects from the initial idea to the finished product.
Our albums tell stories, make community visible, and ignite the collector's fever. For this, we are looking for someone with a good sense of design who can independently implement their ideas up to the final print data.
🎨 Your Tasks
Design Sticker Albums: You will develop independent layouts for our collectible albums, with a special focus on professional sports clubs (focus on Bundesliga D/A/CH).
Develop Image Worlds: You will bring together images, colors, and typography in such a way that the identity of a club and the emotions of its fans are palpable in the album.
Implement Multi-Page Layouts: You will ensure a coherent structure, varied pages, and consistent design throughout the entire album.
Edit Images: You will handle image cutouts, retouching, and the professional preparation of player, team, and campaign photos.
Design Other Products: You will design stickers, packaging, and accompanying print products. Additionally, you will create matching advertising and social media graphics.
Prepare Print You will be responsible for final artwork preparation and meticulously prepare your files for production.
Advance Projects Together: You will work closely with project management, production, and marketing, contribute your own ideas, and reliably implement feedback.
Design and Accompany Projects: You will work closely with project management, production, and marketing. If you enjoy organization and customer contact, you can prospectively manage your own projects from the initial coordination with the client through design and approvals to production.
🖥️ What You Bring
Practical experience in the design of magazines, catalogs, books, or comparable multi-page print products.
Very confident use of Adobe InDesign and Photoshop. Knowledge of Illustrator is also welcome.
A good sense for layout, typography, visual language, and composition. You can convincingly design both individual pages and a complete album.
The ability to empathize with different clubs, brands, and target groups and make their stories experientially tangible through design.
Clean working method in InDesign, especially with paragraph and character styles, master pages, and clearly structured documents.
Experience with final artwork preparation and print production, including bleed, color profiles, and print-ready PDF files.
A structured, independent, and reliable working method. You keep deadlines in mind and address open questions or bottlenecks early on.
Joy in Collaboration: You can explain your design ideas, accept feedback, and develop good solutions together with others.
Ideally, you bring experience in project management: You enjoy coordinating directly with clients, managing schedules and feedback, and keeping an overview until completion. This is not a requirement. What's important to us is that you are eager to develop further in this direction.
Have you completed training or studies in graphic design, media design, or communication design? That fits. We are equally happy to receive applications with a different background and a convincing portfolio.
Do you find sports, clubs, and fan culture exciting? Even better. What matters to us is that you are enthusiastic about our projects.
⚽ Your Playing Field
With us, no project is like the other.
Today you'll design a collectible album for a football club, tomorrow you'll develop a campaign for a brand, and the day after you'll work on a completely new collectible album idea.
You'll get the opportunity to take on real responsibility and make your mark visible in our projects.
Whether you're in your first few years of your career or already have a lot of experience:
We're not interested in how many years are on your resume. We're interested in what you can design.
🏆 What Awaits You Here
Products you can be proud of.
Your designs will be printed, collected, traded, and handled by people time and again.
Creative Freedom and Personal Responsibility.
You'll contribute your ideas and accompany projects from the first draft to the finished collectible album.
Design Freedom and the Chance to Lead Your Own Projects.
You'll contribute your ideas and accompany projects from the first draft to the finished collectible album. If you wish and have the right skills, you'll also handle client coordination and organization of your projects.
Diverse Topics.
Professional sports, amateur clubs, and special collecting projects bring different stories and design tasks.
A Small Team with Short Communication Channels.
You'll work directly with the people who develop and implement our projects. We make decisions without long approval loops.
Personal Exchange On-Site.
Your workplace is in our office in Gräfelfing near Munich. Here we coordinate, review designs together, and further develop our products.
Shared Experiences.
Whether it's a stadium visit or Oktoberfest: there are also opportunities to do something together outside of our projects.
🚀 Show Us What You Design
Send us your CV and portfolio directly through the platform. We are particularly interested in multi-page layouts from magazines, catalogs, books, or comparable projects, preferably also from the sports sector. Show us as many consecutive pages as possible and briefly describe your own contribution in joint projects.
Have you already organized projects independently and managed clients? Then please tell us about that too. This experience is a big plus for us.
✨ Work Environment and Extras
You will receive a company mobile phone and a company laptop and benefit from flexible working hours with the possibility of home office. For your commute, you'll have benefits for public transport and compensation for travel costs. Additionally, you can expect team events and company parties, employee discounts, additional vacation days, free drinks & coffee, and a casual dress code.
💰 Compensation
For this permanent full-time position with 40 hours per week, we offer you an annual gross salary of €38,000 to €50,000. The exact compensation will depend on your experience, your design skills, and the responsibility you take on in project management.
🚀 Ready to Create Collector's Fever With Us?
If you're eager to not just do design, but to create products that inspire people, then we want to get to know you. Send us your application, preferably including your portfolio here via the platform.
We look forward to hearing from you!
