Graphic Designer / Art Director (m/w/d)

The Idea Quarter is an agency for success-promoting communication with its headquarters in Düsseldorf. We develop strategies, concepts, and ideas for companies and implement them neutrally across media. Whether printed or digital – the primary goal of communication always comes first. Our clients are active in various industries: medical technology, food, software, optics, consulting, social institutions, craftsmanship. This includes both small businesses and international large corporations.

Tasks

• You design campaigns and develop the brand presence for our customers
• You take over the creative and functional design of advertising materials for print (advertisements, brochures, flyers, posters, exhibition stands, mailings etc.) and secondarily for online media (website, online advertisements, banners, social media etc.)
• You work closely with the Reinzeichnung and project management teams
• You maintain contact with external partners such as photographers or printers
• You drive the agency forward with your creativity
• You stay up-to-date on design and design possibilities

Qualification

• You are creative and enjoy developing new ideas and implementing them
• You think in print and digital and have fun with good design
• You have a graphic education or a graphic design study etc. completed
• You bring at least 3 years of professional experience to an agency
• You are familiar with Adobe CC. Having knowledge of CMS programs (WordPress) is also advantageous
• You enjoy teamwork
• You have fun trying new things and are always looking for new ways
• You are proactive, flexible, reliable, and quickly adapt to new topics
• You master German & English fluently in writing and speaking
