Location: South Manchester
Salary: £475 - £525 per week (based on 5 days)
Contract: Full-time, Term-time (Flexible work also available)
Teaching Personnel have an exciting opportunity for Graduate Teaching Assistants to work across multiple schools in the South Manchester area. This role is perfect for graduates who want to gain hands-on classroom experience, particularly those considering careers in teaching or educational psychology.
You’ll be supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), including those with autism, ADHD, and social, emotional, and mental health needs. Your role will involve helping students overcome barriers to learning, providing tailored support, and making a real difference to their educational journey.
This opportunity is ideal for any graduate, but especially those with degrees in Psychology, Sociology, or Education. We offer flexible day-to-day work to fit around your schedule, as well as long-term positions for those seeking stability and career progression.
About the Role- Support students with SEN to help them achieve their full potential.
- Work closely with teachers and SEN teams to provide tailored classroom support.
- Deliver one-to-one or small group interventions.
- Promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being.
- A degree in Psychology, Sociology, Education (or any subject) is advantageous but not essential.
- A passion for education and supporting young people.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
