Graduate Teaching Assistant - Core Subjects (Maths, English, Science)

Monarch Education is currently recruiting Graduate Teaching Assistants to support a high-achieving secondary school in Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates with strong academic backgrounds in Mathematics, English, or Science who are passionate about education and eager to gain classroom experience in a structured and ambitious environment.

As a Graduate TA, you will:

• Support students in KS3 and KS4 across core subjects, helping to raise attainment and engagement.
• Deliver small group interventions and one-to-one academic support.
• Assist teachers with lesson preparation, classroom activities, and behaviour management.
• Contribute to a culture of high expectations and academic excellence.
• Gain valuable experience for a future career in teaching or education.

• A degree in Maths, English, Science, or a closely related subject.
• A genuine interest in working with young people and supporting their academic progress.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A proactive, professional, and enthusiastic approach.
• Previous experience in tutoring, mentoring, or classroom support (desirable but not essential).
