The Role
Kickstart your career as a Graduate Speech Therapist in a supportive Brisbane–based community team. This is your chance to gain hands-on experience in a variety of settings including homes, schools, and virtual appointments while gradually building your confidence and skills.

You’ll work across a defined local community region, with travel carefully planned so your first and last appointments are close to home. Your caseload will develop progressively, giving you the opportunity to learn at your own pace, explore different areas of practice, and find your clinical strengths and interests.

You’ll receive ongoing supervision and mentoring, with structured onboarding and support to ensure a smooth transition from university to clinical practice.

What’s On Offer:
  • Starting salary of $85,000 plus super
  • 10 days personal/carer’s leave per year
  • $8,000 annual vehicle allowance (fortnightly pro rata) or fully serviced company vehicle
  • $2,000 annual PD allowance + 3 paid study days per year (post 3 months service)

Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
  • AHPRA registration (or eligibility)
  • National Police Check, First Aid & CPR (or willingness to obtain)
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Current driver’s license
  • Strong communication, organisation and time-management skills
  • Passion for delivering high-quality, community-based, person-centered care
