Graduate Operations Supervisor (m/f/d)

At Picnic, you'll start directly in a leadership role! As an Operations Supervisor (m/f/d) in our Fulfillment Center (FC) in Nuremberg, you are the engine of the location. Supported by investors such as the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, we are jointly building Europe's most modern, 100% electric delivery system.

What awaits you 

• Team Leadership: You are a coach and role model – with your genuine, intrinsic interest in people, you lead and inspire your team of 3 team leaders and over 30 warehouse employees.
• Shift Management: In the FC, you always keep an overview, prioritize tasks in daily operations, and ensure that every order is dispatched on time.
• Variety: You will experience the perfect mix of action directly on the warehouse floor (3-4 days per week) and strategic deep dives in the FC Office (1-2 days per week).
• Process Optimization: There is no standing still here. Do you have ideas? Here you will develop your own logistics projects and take our processes to the next level through your drive.
• Ownership: You are eager to take on responsibility, even when things are outside your immediate area. You think outside the box and proactively take things into your own hands.

What you bring with you

• A completed degree (Bachelor or Master) in Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable field.
• You are passionate about logistics and ideally have some initial insights from the warehouse sector (e.g., through internships or working student positions).
• You communicate fluently in German and English and have the necessary flexibility for shift work (including evenings and Saturdays).
• An extremely high level of self-motivation. You see things on your own, proactively take them on, and assume responsibility – even beyond your own immediate scope.
• A genuine, intrinsic interest in people. You are empathetic, approachable, and love motivating and developing your team.
