Have you just finished your studies and are looking for an exciting career start in the largest automated fulfillment center (FC) in the EU?

At Picnic, at our location in Oberhausen, we offer you the chance to take on direct responsibility in the supply chain as a Graduate Operations Supervisor (m/f/d). In this role, you will combine operational team leadership with strategic process optimization to take our logistics to the next level and keep an eye on all relevant KPIs.

What awaits you

• Team Leadership: You will lead, motivate, and inspire a team of over 100 Shoppers daily - you are the first point of contact for your employees and foster a positive work culture.
• Shift Management: As a Supervisor, you will manage daily operations in our automated FC - you will ensure that the conveyor technology and manual processes mesh perfectly.
• Process Optimization: You will identify bottlenecks and be responsible for your own projects for process optimization - using data to sustainably increase the efficiency of the entire supply chain.
• Responsibility: You will monitor performance targets and make informed decisions based on real-time data.
• Stakeholder Management: You will work closely with other teams to quickly escalate technical disruptions and ensure the smooth operation of the supply chain.

What you bring with you

• A completed degree (Bachelor/Master) in Logistics Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Ideally, you have initial experience in coaching teams (e.g., through internships, volunteer work, or sports).
• You speak fluent German and have very good English skills for communication within the international team.
• Willingness to work in a shift system (including Saturday work) is a matter of course for you as a Supervisor.
• You love to question processes and actively drive process optimization.
• You are not afraid to pitch in during operational activities to achieve your KPIs.
