About the Service
- Established, medium sized medical centre with a large MDT.
- Providing affordable, accessible, sustainable healthcare
- Serving a broad ESU across Wellington’s Eastern & Southern suburbs
- Strong commitment to equitable care for all individuals and whānau
- Full orientation and induction programme for Practitioners.
- GP trainee position in a supportive, patient-centred environment
- 6-8/10ths available
- Comprehensive salary package and dedicated GP supervisor.
- Manage combination booked and walk in appointments.
- Work with a diverse and often vulnerable patient population
- Support patients with chronic care, preventative medicine, mental health
- Educate and support patients and their whānau
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, attending regular meetings and shared care planning
- GP trainee
- Positive attitude and motivation to grow your generalist skills
- Experience or interest in women’s health or mental health, highly advantageous
- Excellent communicator with patients, whānau, and colleagues
- Able to work well both independently and as part of a close-knit team
- Flexible, adaptable, and happy to contribute across sites
