Governance, Risk & Compliance Officer (w/m/d), Schwerpunkt Datenschutz

Aufgaben

You will take on a key position in the further development and steering of the company-wide GRC structures and focus particularly on the theme complex "Datenschutz/DSGVO". In this context, the following tasks fall within your responsibility:

• You are responsible for building, developing, and implementing internal guidelines, standards, and processes with a focus on data protection as well as compliance.
• You monitor the observance of statutory, regulatory, and internal requirements, particularly in relation to data protection/DSGVO, including areas such as DSFA, international data transfers, and IT privacy.
• You implement technical and organizational measures (TOMs) to ensure data security and compliance with legal, regulatory, and data protection requirements.
• You identify, evaluate, and steer risks in the national and international context.
• You advise and train internal departments on compliance and data protection topics.
• You monitor regulatory developments and lead corresponding strategic measures accordingly.
• You analyze and optimize internal processes and create reports and recommendations for management.
• You act as a central interface between management, internal departments, and external auditors and report directly to the Head of International GRC.

Qualifikation

• You hold a completed university degree in law, economics, or a comparable field.
• You can refer to extensive relevant professional experience in the area of Governance, Risk, Compliance, and Data Protection, preferably in a (financial) services and/or consulting environment.
• You bring fundamental legal and application-oriented knowledge in the areas of data protection/DSGVO as well as compliance standards, ideally with corresponding additional qualifications (e.g. CIPP/E, CIPM, CDPO).
• You impress with analytical, conceptual skills, a structured, pragmatic working style, and a high sense of responsibility.
• You convince with communication strength, assertiveness, and a confident appearance at all levels.
• You possess negotiation-proof German and English language skills.
