Your Tasks
•Concept and development of an Integration Layer for interfaces between different central systems and ServiceNow
•Implementation and further development of Backend-Services in Golang, including professional conception of selected interfaces
•Creation and maintenance of standardized REST- and possibly SOAP-interfaces for binding various external systems and service providers
•Operation of the layer in a cloud environment, including automated Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes
•Consultation on ensuring compliance with architecture and coding guidelines
•Development and maintenance of Frontends, e.g., for dashboards or reports for asset management
•Implementation of mechanisms for data integration, synchronization, and consistency control between ServiceNow and third-party systems
•Realization of event-based triggers for processing IT-asset changes in real-time
•Optimization of code quality through systematic reviews, automated tests, and extensive documentation
•Consultation on creating documents for architectural decisions and creation of decision-making documentation (e.g., ADRs), especially for deviations from standard solutions (OOTB)

Must Requirements
•Several years of practical experience in developing Backend-Services with Golang, proven by at least 4 project references from the last 6 years and relevant certifications
•At least 6 years of experience in data integration, data migration, and synchronization between different systems, as well as good knowledge of authentication mechanisms

•At least 5 years of experience with cloud technologies and the use of automated CI/CD pipelines
•At least 3 years of experience in Scrum or Kanban and safe handling of agile tools such as Jira and Confluence

Can Requirements
•At least 5 years of experience with Angular, React, or similar frameworks
•Practical experience with message brokers like Kafka or RabbitMQ, proven by at least two project references from the last five years
•Good knowledge of the German language, proven by a C2 certificate or as mother tongue
•Professional know-how about railway infrastructure companies or rail transport companies, proven by at least two reference projects

Further Information
The project location is Frankfurt am Main. The performance delivery will usually be location-independent and remote, with the willingness for occasional on-site presence in Frankfurt am Main as well as an onshore delivery from Germany assumed.
