Golang Developer (m/f/d) - Remote (Germany)

Salary Transparency:
This position is aimed at candidates with at least 4 years of professional experience.

The salary range is between €65,000 and €80,000 gross per year, depending on experience.

Work Model: Full-time, 100% remote within Germany.

Location: Germany (remote).

Responsibilities

• Design, development, and further development of REST APIs, primarily with Go.
• Maintenance and improvement of existing backend services.
• Application of Test-Driven Development practices as well as ensuring high code quality through static analysis and linting.
• Development of internal CLI tools and supporting utilities.
• Working with PostgreSQL, Redis, RabbitMQ/Kafka, S3 Storage, and containerized environments.
• Involvement in CI/CD pipelines and Kubernetes deployments.
• Close collaboration with the engineering team to deliver reliable and scalable backend solutions.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of professional experience in backend/API development.
• Sound practical experience with Go and the development of REST APIs.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, RabbitMQ or Kafka, as well as S3-compatible storage.
• Solid knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI or GitHub Actions.
• Good Shell/CLI skills.
• Understanding of Test-Driven Development and software quality best practices.
• Residency in Germany.
• Fluent German language skills (C1).
