Golang Developer (m/w/d) - Remote (Germany)

Salary Transparency:

The salary range lies between €65,000 and €75,000 gross per year, depending on experience.

Work model: Full-time, 100% remote within Germany.

Location: Germany (remote).

Tasks

• Design, development, and further development of REST APIs, primarily using Go.
• Maintenance and improvement of existing backend services.
• Application of test-driven development practices as well as ensuring high code quality through static analysis and linting.
• Development of internal CLI tools and supporting utilities.
• Work with PostgreSQL, Redis, RabbitMQ/Kafka, S3 storage, and containerized environments.
• Participation in CI/CD pipelines and Kubernetes deployments.
• Closely collaborate with the engineering team to provide reliable and scalable backend solutions.

Qualification

• At least 4 years of professional experience in backend/API development.
• Fundamental practical experience with Go and the development of REST APIs.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, RabbitMQ or Kafka, as well as S3-compatible storage.
• Solid knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools like GitLab CI or GitHub Actions.
• Good shell/CLI skills.
• Understanding of test-driven development and best practices in software quality.
• Residence in Germany.
• Negotiation-proof German language skills (C1).
