About the Role

We are hiring experienced Golang Backend Engineers (SDE II) to join the StoreFront Engineering team. You will work on high-scale, real-time, API-driven backend services used by millions daily. The role requires strong ownership and the ability to build and optimize distributed, mission-critical systems end-to-end.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable backend services using Golang

• Build high-performance REST APIs and microservices

• Work on distributed systems, caching, queues, and real-time data flows

• Ensure high standards of code quality, testing, and reliability

• Collaborate closely with product, design, and DevOps teams

• Drive ownership across the full development lifecycle

Must-Have Skills

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience with Golang

• Strong understanding of backend architecture & microservices

• Strong DSA skills (tested in interviews)

• Experience with Redis, Memcache, MySQL, Kafka

• Understanding of distributed systems & high-throughput platforms

• Strong communication, problem-solving, and ownership mindset

• Java background acceptable if transitioned into Go

• Bonus: Experience switching from Java to Go (migration, adaptation, or rewrite projects)

• Exposure to event-driven architecture and cloud (AWS/GCP)
