Main Specialist in Engineering and Technology

Workplace location:
Institute of Road and Bridge Research, 03-302 Warsaw, ul. Instytutowa 1.

Requirements for candidates:
• Doctoral degree in one of the disciplines: automation, electronics, technical informatics and telecommunications, mechanical engineering, materials engineering, land engineering, geodesy and transport.
• Practical knowledge of Python programming language.
• Ability to effectively organize own work and independently solve technical problems.
• Analytical thinking and teamwork skills in a project environment.
• High level of engagement in the realization of assigned tasks and responsibility for their timely completion.

Priorities:
• Experience in IT support for projects and processing measurement data from remote measurement systems is desirable.

Job responsibilities:
• Developing concepts for an information system and preparing tender documentation in accordance with project requirements.
• Coordinating the installation and start-up of a central server and three vehicle weighing systems (WIM).
• Analyzing measurement data obtained from WIM systems and designing algorithms for processing them.
• Preparing a final report containing conclusions on the project's implementation.
• Collaborating in preparing scientific publications based on results achieved within the project.
