Group Chief Accountant

Your responsibilities

• Supervision of the accounting of Group companies,
• maintaining the books of the dominant entity and responsibility for its financial reporting,
• responsibility for tax settlements, in particular CIT, VAT and WHT,
• ensuring timely and correct closing of the month, quarter and year,
• preparation of annual financial statements of the dominant entity,
• supervision over the quality of accounting data and balance sheet reconciliations,
• cooperation with Chief Accountants of subsidiary companies and external accounting offices,
• implementation and maintenance of consistent accounting standards within the Group,
• cooperation with the Reporting Manager on consolidation, stock exchange reporting and IFRS
• cooperation with the Tax Manager regarding Group taxes,
• cooperation with the auditor during financial statement audits and reviews,
• participation in the accounting integration of new companies joining the Group,
• initiating and implementing improvements in accounting processes.

Our requirements

• Experience as a Chief Accountant, Head of Accounting or similar position,
• very good knowledge of the Accounting Act and practical experience in full accounting,
• experience in preparing financial statements,
• experience in independently managing month and year-end closing processes,
• practical knowledge of taxes, especially CIT and VAT,
• experience in cooperating with auditors,
• very good work organization, independence and ability to take responsibility for the assigned area,
• good knowledge of Excel,
• communicative knowledge of English.

Nice to have

• Experience in supervising accounting managed by external accounting firms,
• experience in a capital group,
• professional certificates (e.g. statutory auditor),
• experience in consolidating financial statements,
• knowledge of IFRS.

Euvic Group is looking for a Group Chief Accountant. The person hired for this position will take responsibility for the accounting and tax area of the dominant entity (Euvic S.A.) and supervision over accounting processes in the Group's companies.

The role combines operational responsibility with coordination of cooperation between accounting teams, external accounting offices, and the group finance area. The position reports directly to the CFO and offers real influence on the quality of financial data, the development of accounting standards, and process improvement in a dynamically developing capital group.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

The first day of work will take place stationary in one of Euvic's offices (onboarding, equipment handover).
