Chief Accountant

We are recruiting for: our Client, a manufacturing company with a strong market position, which has been implementing ambitious business projects both domestically and internationally for many years.

Your scope of responsibilities

• Comprehensive bookkeeping in accordance with applicable regulations and international reporting standards
• Supervision over the correct closing of the month, quarter, and financial year
• Preparation of individual financial statements and participation in group reporting processes
• Coordination of the accounting team's work and development of subordinates' competencies
• Ensuring the correct execution of tax obligations, including preparation and supervision of tax settlements
• Cooperation with auditors, financial institutions, and public administration bodies
• Analysis of tax and accounting issues related to the company's current operations
• Providing opinions on documents and contracts regarding financial and tax implications
• Initiating improvements in accounting processes and participating in projects related to digitalization and automation of financial processes
• Close cooperation with the Chief Financial Officer and other departments of the organization in terms of financial reporting and analysis

Employer requirements

• Higher education in finance, accounting, or economics
• At least 5 years of experience as a Chief Accountant in a manufacturing company
• Very good knowledge of the Accounting Act and tax regulations
• Practical experience in accounting for international transactions in accordance with applicable tax and accounting regulations
• Experience in managing an accounting team
• Very good knowledge of MS Excel
• Independence, responsibility, and very good work organization
