Global Risk & Compliance Manager
Job description
Role Summary:- PamGro is building a global employer-of-record (EOR) and workforce enablement platform that helps clients compliantly hire and manage talent across borders. The Compliance Manager is expected not necessarily to know all labour laws or statutory requirements across all countries, but to oversee the global knowledge base, augment it through structured research, and apply compliance/HR operations expertise to ensure that our operations across PamGro entities, Avance group geographic operations, and client engagements are compliant with local laws, regulations, and PamGro policies. This is a critical role that will help to protect PamGro's business and reputation, mitigate risk, and ensure long-term sustainability. The Global Risk & Compliance Manager will be responsible for building and implementing a global compliance program, including policies, procedures, and training. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of international labor laws, employment regulations, and risk management principles. Key Responsibilities:- Build and maintain a global compliance program, including policies, procedures, and training; Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation plans; Monitor compliance with local laws, regulations, and PamGro policies; Investigate and resolve compliance violations; Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders on compliance matters; Stay up-to-date on changes in local laws and regulations; Manage and maintain the global knowledge base of labor laws and statutory requirements; Conduct structured research to augment the knowledge base; Apply compliance/HR operations expertise to ensure compliant operations; Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including legal, HR, and operations teams; Develop and deliver compliance training programs; Monitor and report on compliance performance; Identify and assess compliance risks; Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies; Conduct internal audits; Manage external audits; Prepare compliance reports for senior management; Stay abreast of industry best practices and trends; Identify areas for improvement in the compliance program. Skills & Experience:- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., law, business administration, human resources); 5+ years of experience in compliance, risk management, or HR; Strong understanding of international labor laws and employment regulations; Experience with risk assessment and mitigation; Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills; Ability to work independently and as part of a team; Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines; Experience with compliance training and program development; Experience with audit management; Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; Experience working with remote teams and diverse cultures; Knowledge of employer of record (EOR) and/or workforce management solutions is a plus; Experience with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) is a plus; Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment is a plus; Certification in compliance or risk management is a plus.
