Global Industrials Equity Analyst

We are currently representing an exciting and top performing hedge fund. They are looking to add a Global Industrials focused Long/Short Equity Analyst to join their team in either Singapore or Hong Kong.

Role Requirements:

• 5+ years of relevant buy-side or sell-side equity research experience.
• Proven coverage of Hong Kong/China industrial stocks is essential.
• Experience covering Japanese industrials, autos, or factory automation is a strong plus.
• Strong understanding of key sub-sectors: automotive, robotics, machinery, equipment, etc.
• Business fluency in Mandarin is required; English fluency is highly preferred.
• Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth fundamental research and financial analysis on Hong Kong/China-listed industrial companies.
• Generate actionable investment ideas across sub-sectors such as automotive, robotics, machinery, and equipment.
• Monitor industry trends, macroeconomic developments, and company-specific events.
• Collaborate closely with the Portfolio Manager to support investment decisions.
