As Global Consumables Category Lead, your key responsibilities will include: • Developing and implementing the global consumables category strategy in collaboration with stakeholders • Leading and managing a team of Category Managers to achieve business objectives • Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers to drive value and improve procurement processes • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective communication • Analyzing market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform procurement decisions • Providing thought leadership and expertise on category management best practices • Identifying and mitigating risks associated with global consumables procurement • Developing and managing budgets for the consumables category • Staying up-to-date with industry developments and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance.
