Global Category/Supplies Specialist – Energy

Description of the job

• Define general principles of category strategy at a global level, in accordance with business objectives and sustainability goals of the company;
• Be the voice of the procurement area alongside various global instances that deal with energy from different perspectives (sustainability, finance, technical) and represent those instances within the procurement area;
• Implement and/or coordinate category strategies through initiatives and sourcing plans suitable for the category, conduct strategic negotiations with global, regional, or local energy suppliers;
• Support regions in managing contracts and supply agreements for energy in various countries;
• Implement a relationship management framework for the energy category and manage the stakeholder plan at a global level, as well as establish an adequate governance structure to manage the execution of the strategy;
• Develop category intelligence, including market analysis and insights, price benchmarking, risk evaluation, and regulatory opportunity assessment;
• Develop an “energy control tower” to govern expenses and report financial position of the company regarding the energy category.
