ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking an experienced Glazier to join our growing team. This role involves the installation and assembly of glass and glazing systems for greenhouse and glasshouse structures. You will work on a variety of projects, ensuring high-quality workmanship and attention to detail in all installations.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Measure, cut, finish, fit and install flat glass and glazing for greenhouse structures
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints and specifications
• Assemble and install glass panels, doors, and windows for glasshouse construction
• Install shower screens, glass partitions, and other glass fittings as required
• Fabricate and install metal frames and supporting structures for glass installations
• Ensure all glass installations meet safety standards and building codes
• Handle, transport and store glass materials safely
• Use hand tools, power tools and specialized glazing equipment
• Conduct quality checks to ensure accuracy, clearance and proper fit of installed glass
• Seal and weatherproof glass installations to prevent leaks
• Work collaboratively with other trades and construction team members
• Maintain a clean and safe work site
• Perform repairs and maintenance on existing glass installations as needed

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
To be considered for this position, you must have:
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant construction experience in glazing, glass installation, or similar trade work
AND/OR
• A Level 4 qualification (NZQF) in Glass and Glazing or a related field

DESIRABLE SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES
• Certificate III or IV in Glass and Glazing (AQF) or equivalent
• Experience with greenhouse or glasshouse construction
• Experience installing shower screens, glass partitions, or architectural glass
• Knowledge of metal fabrication and structural assembly
• Ability to work at heights and on scaffolding
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Good physical fitness and manual dexterity
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Full driver licence (desirable)
• Understanding of health and safety requirements in construction
