GL Accountant with German

For one of our clients, we are looking for an experienced person for the position of:

GL Accountant with German language

100% remote work

Long-term cooperation

B2B contract

Remuneration: PLN 15,000–19,000 net + VAT (B2B) – negotiable

Scope of responsibilities:

• Managing General Ledger processes in accordance with applicable accounting standards.

• Participation in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.

• Booking and verification of accounting entries.

• Reconciliation of balance sheet and profit and loss accounts and analysis of discrepancies.

• Preparation of financial reports and analyses for internal purposes.

• Cooperation with auditors and finance teams in an international environment.

• Support for processes related to intercompany settlements.

• Participation in improving accounting processes and implementing new solutions.

• Ensuring process compliance with internal procedures and company policies.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a GL Accountant or in the General Ledger area.

• Very good knowledge of German (minimum B2, C1 preferred).

• Good knowledge of English enabling work in an international environment.

• Knowledge of month-end closing processes and accounting principles.

• Experience working with ERP systems.

• Ability for analytical thinking and problem-solving.

• Independence, accuracy, and very good work organization.

• Ability to cooperate effectively with international teams.

Nice to have:

• Experience in an SSC/BPO or GBS environment.

• Knowledge of IFRS standards.

• Experience in automating financial and accounting processes.

• Knowledge of Power BI or Excel at an advanced level.
