Fiber Optic Junior Technician

TELEBIT, a modern and solid Italian group with over 1800 employees and 28 offices throughout Italy, operating as a SYSTEM INTEGRATOR and SOLUTION PROVIDER in the sectors of TELECOMMUNICATIONS, ICT, TECHNOLOGICAL INSTALLATION, FACILITY, and E-MOBILITY (from design, implementation, installation, and maintenance of systems), selects for its own staff 1 FIBER OPTIC JUNIOR TECHNICIAN. The resource will be inserted into a well-organized and structured reality, entering the operational area Rete Accesso of the Telebit Group, specialized in creating and maintaining fiber optic networks. Together with the Team Leader, the resource will form a new operational team that will have Legnago (VR) as its reference point, from which it will depart daily to perform interventions in nearby provinces. Among the main activities, the resource will be responsible for: - Performing splices and terminations on aerial and underground fiber optic cables, respecting specifications and technical contractual norms. - Realizing tests of optical termination points (PTE/ROE) with OTDR and/or dedicated APPs. - Reading network diagrams. - Using suitable tools/instrumentation (OTDR, optical splicer). The ESSENTIAL requirements, absolutely necessary, are: - Minimum experience in the activity of splicing and knowledge of dedicated tools/instrumentation. - Ability to operate in confined spaces and at heights, with the aid of relevant protective devices. - Residence/domicile in areas nearby to the departure point of the work team: LEGNAGO (VR) - Availability to perform short trips on regional/national territory. - Availability to operate on a call-in basis (1 week per month). - Possession of a B driving license and own vehicle.
