GIS Officer - Civil Infrastructure BNE

We are currently tendering for works in Brisbane and across the wider QLD Region and are seeking expressions of interest from experienced GIS (Geographic Information Systems) Officers interested in joining us and capable of committing to the following assignments for projects which last 1 - 2 years or sometimes more. Mandatory Experience • Working on road &/ or bridge construction &/or rehabilitation projects either directly or indirectly for or with any Regional Councils or the QLD Department of Transport and Main Roads, or similar organisations. • Strong understanding of GIS principles, concepts, and software applications including ESRI ArcGIS, QGIS, and/or other relevant tools. • Proficiency in using spatial data to inform infrastructure planning, design, and construction processes. • Ability to work effectively with stakeholders, including project managers, engineers, and other technical professionals. • Capacity to develop and maintain accurate and comprehensive GIS databases for infrastructure projects. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret and present complex spatial data. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. • Ability to travel regularly within the QLD Region, including overnight stays.
