GIS Developer Utility Network Model (all genders)

We are looking for an experienced developer or network modeler to join our team and contribute to the energy transition. In exciting, international projects, you will work on modern GIS solutions for energy, water, and telecommunications networks and support our customers in digitalizing their supply networks efficiently and sustainably.

Your Mission

As a GIS Developer Utility Network Model (all genders), you are responsible for the technical implementation and continuous development of utility network models. You bring professional requirements into operational GIS solutions, automate processes, and ensure that complex network structures are stable, performant, and future-proof in modern GIS systems. Tasks

• Technical Implementation of Modern Utility Networks
  You implement and develop utility network models based on the Esri ArcGIS platform and support the representation of new network structures, processes, and professional requirements in existing GIS landscapes.
• Development & Automation in the GIS Environment
  You automate recurring GIS processes with Python, Arcade, ModelBuilder, and similar tools and develop ArcGIS Pro add-ins with C# (.NET) using the ArcGIS Pro SDK to streamline workflows efficiently and robustly.
• Data Quality, Migration & Collaboration
  You accompany data migrations, rollouts, and the integration of new networks, ensure data quality, consistency, and governance, and work closely with architects, departments, and IT teams together to implement requirements cleanly and practically.

Qualification

• You have a completed degree in geoinformatics, computer science, surveying, geography, or a comparable qualification with a technical focus.
• You bring first-hand or more extensive experience in GIS development or network modeling, ideally in the context of supply or infrastructure networks.
• You possess knowledge of utility network models, GIS data structures, and work with ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise, or similar GIS systems.
• You have practical experience in scripting and automating GIS processes, e.g., with Python, Arcade, or ModelBuilder, and work analytically and structured.
• You are willing to travel project-related, work well in a team, and bring initiative and enthusiasm for innovative, technical GIS solutions.
• You communicate very securely in German (C1) and have good English skills for collaboration in international project teams.
