Ein medizinischer Schwerpunkt des Krankenhauses Düren sind die Tumorerkrankungen. Dabei nimmt die Klinik für Hämatologie und Onkologie eine herausragende Stellung ein. Zu dieser Klinik gehören zwei Stationen mit 45 Betten, davon 5 Palliativbetten. Etwa 2000 Patienten werden dort jährlich aufgenommen und versorgt. Bei der Pflege unserer oft schwer erkrankten Patienten legen wir hohe Maßstäbe an und orientieren uns dabei stets an den individuellen Bedürfnissen der Patienten und Angehörigen. Unser Förderverein „Carpe Diem“ unterstützt uns dabei seit vielen Jahren.

Job Description

You ensure patient-centered care along the entire nursing process and contribute to the professionalization of nursing. You foster cooperation and networks – both within nursing, as well as with other departments and professions. You know that every step in the nursing process has great importance, and document your services and observations reliably. You support our patients during medical examinations, interventions, and therapies. You prepare chemotherapy before and after, perform it, and monitor it reliably. You continuously develop yourself and share your knowledge.

Qualifications

You hold a completed education as a Healthcare and Nursing Assistant (w/m/d), Healthcare and Pediatric Nursing Assistant (w/m/d) or Elderly Care Assistant (w/m/d). You work very independently, are team-oriented and extremely service-oriented. Your interest in new experiences, willingness to develop and ability for self-reflection round out your profile. Ideally, you have an interest in also completing the advanced training in oncological nursing.
