Sustainability Manager Jr. (Internship)
Job description
Position Objective:
- Comprehensively manage project databases, ensuring their creation, updating, processing, and maintenance.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret technical and statistical information from the agricultural sector.
- Manage and analyze geospatial information using Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
- Systematize and document project processes and experiences.
- Integrate and apply Artificial Intelligence solutions in project processes.
Main Functions:
-Project Database Management
Design, structure, and update project databases.
Debug, validate, and ensure the quality of recorded information.
Generate periodic reports (indicators, dashboards, KPIs).
-Agricultural Technical Information Analysis
Collect field information (productive, environmental, and social).
Analyze statistical and technical data related to production systems.
Prepare diagnoses for the evaluation of impacts and sustainability of production systems.
-Geospatial Information Management (GIS)
Capture, process, manage, and keep georeferenced data updated.
Create thematic maps and spatial analyses.
Analyze territorial variables for project planning.
-Systematization and Knowledge Management
Document project processes, methodologies, and experiences.
Organize and classify relevant information in a structured manner.
Prepare technical reports, manuals, and methodological guides.
-Artificial Intelligence Integration
Identify opportunities for AI application in process optimization.
Integrate AI solutions into databases, GIS, or technical analysis.
Ensure the ethical and responsible use of AI.
Experience:
Studies:
Bachelor's degree in related fields such as: Sustainable Development, Agribusiness, Environmental Engineering, Social Sciences, Rural Development, Biology, or related areas.
Desirable: Master's degree in Sustainable Development, Agricultural Project Management, Agribusiness, Data Intelligence, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), or related areas.
Minimum experience of 1 to 2 years.
Knowledge:
Basic knowledge of database management and administration (intermediate Excel or other tools).
Basic knowledge of data analysis, statistics, and indicator generation.
Basic knowledge of Geographic Information Systems (ArcGIS, QGIS, or others).
Basic knowledge of handling and interpreting agricultural and environmental technical information.
Notions of monitoring and evaluation methodologies for social projects.
Preparation of technical reports and information systematization.
Based in Villahermosa, Tabasco.
