Social Impact Manager

Job Objective:

Execute the management process to address and manage the social impacts of operations in accordance with Perenco's policy and its social performance standard.

Main Functions:

• Implement the mechanism for forecasting the social impacts of operations.
• Integrate files for each case of forecasting social impacts of operations.
• Gather documentation from landowners and/or ejidatarios necessary to obtain land access.
• Integrate and prepare the corresponding file for the various permits, payments, and compensation for damages.
• According to operational requirements, negotiate with landowners to obtain access permission under the Extraction Contract.
• Conduct negotiations in accordance with Perenco's policy and its social performance standard.
• Address access in cases of leaks or other contingencies that arise.
• Address grievances, prepare expert reports and resolutions in Perenco Responds cases.
• Safeguard the application of the Social Performance Standard by contractor companies.
• Prepare files for payment scheduling.
• Compliance with Operational Rotations.

Experience:

• Degree in Anthropology, Sociology, Law, or related social science fields, or Agronomy, Biology, Rural Development.
• Administrative Knowledge.
• Proficiency in Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook).
• Accustomed to working under pressure.
• Experience in socio-environmental conflict management, preferably in the mining or energy sector.
• Knowledge of the social context of the State of Tabasco and its communities.
