Job description

About Everfield

Everfield acquires, develops, and supports the growth of business and specialized software publishers in Europe, providing them with the tools to reach the next level. Our mission: to nurture ambition, fuel growth, and unlock the potential of the European software ecosystem.

Companies within the Everfield ecosystem operate on a decentralized model: they retain their team, brand, and offices, focusing on what they do best – developing their products and supporting their customers. Everfield assists them with recruitment and HR, and grants them access to a team of experts who advise them on the financial and operational aspects of building and growing European B2B SaaS companies. Founded in 2022, Everfield is already present in 7 countries and continues to expand.

Role

As an HR & Payroll Manager, you will play a vital role in the smooth running of HR operations within the portfolio companies. In close collaboration with the HR Business Partnering team, you will manage HR administration, coordinate payroll, and provide accurate data and reports to support decision-making. You will be the first point of contact for employees' daily HR questions, ensuring prompt, accurate, and compliant HR support. This role forms the foundation of effective HR management, allowing leaders and HRBPs to focus on strategic priorities.

  • Payroll: Prepare, process, and validate the monthly payroll for portfolio companies, in liaison with the external payroll provider. Ensure accuracy and adherence to deadlines.

  • HR Operations: Be the first point of contact for employee queries. Contribute to policy updates and ensure compliance with local legal requirements regarding labor law.

  • Compliance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee files. Produce employment-related correspondence and templates. Ensure documentation is audit-ready and compliant with legal and internal requirements.

  • Data & Reporting: Ensure a high level of data accuracy in HR systems. Provide employee data and reports to populate dashboards, analyses, and decision-making processes.

  • HRBP & CoE Support: Assist in preparing onboarding files, disciplinary documentation, exit interviews, and operational HR tasks. Provide support to CoE teams in program deployment.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience in HR administration or a similar HR operational role, appreciated.

  • Experience with HR systems (Workday desired).

  • Good understanding of local labor law and HR best practices, essential.

  • Strong communication skills to interact with employees and stakeholders at all levels.

  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.

  • Proactive and solutions-oriented mindset, with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities.

  • French Payroll - Social Security and Disability: Proven experience in managing these specific cases, including liaison with relevant bodies (CPAM, provident institutions, etc.), processing sick leave, maternity leave, and disability situations on payslips, as well as updating contribution rates during annual reviews.
