The main accounting agency is a department that:
Maintains the accounts of the institution and prepares its financial statements
Ensures the collection of customer invoices
Ensures the payment of expenses
Controls the authorization to collect revenue
Controls the quality of the authorizer, the availability of credits, and the correct accounting imputation of the expense
The network of accounting agencies is composed of a principal accountant and 3 secondary accountants located in Douai (IMT Nord Europe), Nantes (IMT Atlantique), and Saint Etienne (IMT Mines Alès, IMT Mines Albi, and Mines Saint-Etienne).
The main accounting agency, located in Palaiseau, has a role of centralizing entries and managing the network. It maintains the accounts of the schools under its direct responsibility.
The secondary accounting agencies maintain the accounts of their respective schools.
WHAT MISSIONS AWAIT YOU WITHIN IMT?:
Under the hierarchical authority of the Head of the General Accounting – Revenue Department, in collaboration with the teams and departments of Institut Mines-Télécom, you will take charge of the following activities:
General Accounting:
Update the pay-as-you-go payroll framework for the IMT scope.
Record the payment of payroll and intern allowances for the ACS.
Control and record payroll entries and intern allowances for schools managed by the ACP.
Monitor suspense accounts of the ACP.
Manage transfer slips to or from the secondary accounting agencies.
Control requests for reimbursement of IJSS from schools managed by the ACP.
Track operations on behalf of third parties.
Revenue:
Control revenue titles for schools managed by the ACP.
Validate revenue titles (amount < €50,000) for schools managed by the ACP.
Update convention schedules after validation of revenue titles.
Clear suspense accounts after validation of revenue titles.
Track revenue related to apprenticeship tax and premium within the IMT scope.
Treasury:
Control and process expense payments.
Control and process payments for: bank rejection adjustments, IMT train advance payments for schools managed by the ACP, reimbursement requests from schools managed by the ACP, expenses related to France Travail, release of retention guarantees.
Cash Offices:
Control, integrate, and monthly track operations of cash offices for schools managed by the ACP.
Update monthly statistics for cash offices.
Fixed Assets:
Control and validate fixed asset records for schools managed by the ACP.
Update, control, and track the fixed asset register for schools managed by the ACP.
Amicable Recovery:
Manage and track amicable recovery and payment schedules for schools managed by the ACP.
Miscellaneous:
Ensure the monitoring of analysis tables.
Prepare the revenue balance file at the end of the year.
Participate in the preparation of financial statement tables related to the department's activity.
Ensure internal control of the department in collaboration with the department head.
Occasionally manage department activities at the request of the manager and in the absence of colleagues.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?:
Required education and/or professional experience:
Bac + 2 degree or equivalent;
Bac degree or equivalent with professional experience ≥ 4 years;
Professional experience ≥ 8 years.
You have the following profile:
Knowledge of general accounting rules
Knowledge of written and oral communication techniques
Proficiency in office tools: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Demonstrate rigor and method

Good knowledge of SIREPA and PEP ERPs would be a plus

Contract: Public Law Fixed-Term Contract or Category B Civil Servant on detachment contract

Indicative salary range: €29,000 - €38,000 gross per year (reduced social charges - public sector). A variable annual bonus complements this position.
