Executive Management (m/w/d)

Shape the future of the German Red Cross in the Müllheim district association e.V. We are looking for an executive management (m/w/d) as of 01.07.2026.

We are one of 15 district associations in the Baden State Association of the German Red Cross e.V. With our 9 local associations, over 200 employees and 7,000 supporting members, we are actively involved in areas such as population protection, rescue services, emergency call system, ambulatory care, teilstationary care, migration counseling, offers for seniors, children, youth and families, as well as various other charitable activities. Our annual turnover exceeds €12 million.

Tasks

• You shape the sustainable and stable development of the district association in your area of responsibility.
• You steer the district association in close and trusting coordination with the board.
• You promote cooperation between main and honorary staff.
• Together with the board, you develop the honorary staff in the district association further and synchronize the different perspectives, challenges and wishes.
• You plan and secure the economic efficiency of the district association.
• You negotiate with cost bearers, authorities and other external stakeholders.
• You coordinate the committees at district association level.
• You actively represent the district association in committees of the state association or local government level.
• Together with department and division leaders, you develop our business areas content-wise and strategically.

Qualification

• You have a university degree in a relevant field (e.g. economics, social sciences or health sciences) and sound business knowledge.
• You lead integratively, transparently and with appreciation for people and are still assertive.
• You possess high communication skills, are responsible, open and authentic.
• You have experience in working with honorary staff.
• You have experience in shaping change processes in organizations, ideally in the health or social sector.
• You bring enthusiasm for future-oriented development of a socially significant organization and its principles.
