Today, companies in the medium-sized and corporate sectors use Workdate to sustainably strengthen collaboration and corporate culture. Now we are looking for an entrepreneurially thinking personality to lead Workdate into its next phase of growth. More about Workdate
Responsibilities
As Managing Director, you will assume overall operational and strategic responsibility for Workdate. Together with the founding team, the team, and our partners, you will develop the next phase of growth – with a clear focus on customers, product, revenue, and sustainable business development.
You combine strategic thinking with consistent execution. You work closely with the market, understand the requirements of HR managers and decision-makers, and can derive compelling offers, product decisions, and scalable processes from customer needs.
- Further develop corporate strategy: You sharpen Workdate's positioning and translate it into concrete goals, priorities, and actions.
- Responsibility for growth: You manage revenue development, new customer acquisition, existing customer expansion, and strategic partnerships in the B2B SaaS environment.
- Actively drive sales: You conduct key customer meetings yourself, further develop the sales process, and build a robust pipeline.
- Expand customer relationships: You maintain direct exchange with HR managers and decision-makers, understand their challenges, and strengthen long-term customer relationships.
- Shape product development: Together with the product and development team, you prioritize requirements and further develop Workdate in a market- and customer-oriented manner.
- Lead organization and team: You create clear responsibilities, establish effective processes, and further develop a trusting, performance-oriented remote culture.
- Manage corporate KPIs: You are responsible for planning, budget, liquidity, and reporting, and derive well-founded decisions from the relevant KPIs.
- Represent Workdate externally: You represent the company to customers, partners, networks, and other relevant stakeholders.
Qualifications
What you have built and achieved is more important to us than a specific degree.
- Several years of operational responsibility in a start-up, scale-up, SaaS company, or a comparable entrepreneurial role.
- Demonstrable experience in at least two of the following areas: General Management, B2B Sales, Business Development, Product Strategy, or Customer Success.
- Enjoy conducting customer meetings yourself, driving deals, and taking responsibility for results.
- Clear, binding, and appreciative communication
- Structured, independent way of working in a remote-first environment
- Fluent German and very good English
- Interest in HR Tech, Employee Experience, Organizational Development, and the Future of Collaboration
You don't have to meet every requirement. The decisive factors are entrepreneurial drive, the ability to learn, and the desire to develop Workdate in the long term.
Benefits
- Real entrepreneurial responsibility: You will significantly shape strategy, product, organization, and growth.
- Proven product with substance: You start with an established B2B SaaS solution, renowned customers, and a large user base.
- Meaningful mission: Your work contributes to strengthening knowledge transfer, collaboration, and human connections within companies.
- Direct scope for action: Short decision-making processes and close collaboration with the founding team, employees, customers, and partners.
- Remote-first: Flexible work independent of the classic office routine.
- Personal interaction: Regular team meetings and joint workations.
- Fair compensation: An attractive compensation model consisting of fixed and performance-related components.
- Long-term perspective: With mutual interest, there is the possibility of equity participation in the company.
- Workation: Regular team meet-ups, including in Sweden.
We are not looking for someone who merely manages existing processes. We are looking for someone who wants to take responsibility, make decisions, and build something together with a small team.
If you are eager to develop an established HR Tech product into an even stronger, growing company, we want to get to know you.
