Virtual Reality Café Manager (m/w/d)

We operate as a 100% subsidiary of an established franchise system a Virtual-Reality location in Düsseldorf. The concept is a mix of leisure facility with focus on VR gaming and social games with attached café. The new flagship location in the heart of Little Tokyo will bring strategic and operational innovations to the franchise and develop sustainably profitable. For this, we are looking for an entrepreneurial thinking leadership personality.

Tasks

As Managing Director of the operating company and site leader on-site, you are responsible for the entire business operation:

Operative Leadership

• Total responsibility for the location (revenue, costs, result)
• Steering of daily operations and ensuring high service quality
• Optimization of processes and workflows

Human Resources Management

• BUILDING, LEADING AND DEVELOPING THE TEAM
• PLANNING, RECRUITMENT, TRAINING
• MOTIVATING AND PERFORMANCE-ORIENTED EMPLOYEE MANAGEMENT

Controlling & Steering

• BUDGET PLANNING, COST CONTROL, KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATOR REPORTING
• ANALYSIS OF REVENUE, CONTRIBUTION MARGINS AND MEASURES TO IMPROVE RESULTS
• TIGHT COORDINATION WITH THE FRANCHISE HEADQUARTERS / SHAREHOLDERS

Entrepreneurial Further Development

• IMPLEMENTATION OF A GROWTH CONCEPT, IN PARTICULAR WITH REGARD TO INNOVATIONS
• LOCAL MARKETING, COOPERATIONS, EVENT FORMATS
• ACTIVE FURTHER DEVELOPMENT OF THE BUSINESS MODEL ON-SITE

Qualification

Your Profile

• MULTI-YEAR LEADERSHIP EXPERIENCE IN RETAIL, HOSPITALITY, LEISURE/ENTERTAINMENT SECTOR OR SIMILAR SERVICE-ORIENTED INDUSTRIES
• EVIDENCE OF EXPERIENCE IN RESULT RESPONSIBILITY (P&L)
• STRONG ENTREPRENEURIAL THINKING
• SUCCESSFUL HANDLING OF KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS AND BUSINESS EVALUATIONS
• HIGH HANDS-ON MENTALITY – YOU ARE PRESENT ON THE FLOOR
• COMMUNICATION SKILLS, DECISIVE, TEAM-ORIENTED
• PASSION FOR NEW TECHNOLOGIES / VR AS WELL AS GAMING IS AN ADVANTAGE
• Ideal knowledge of local marketing and addressing target groups, e.g. social media actions, local cooperations and events
