CEO (m/w/d) for Building and Scaling a Water Technology Company

RX-WATERTEC develops digital solutions for intelligent rainwater management. Our technology connects sensorics, data, AI, and infrastructure and addresses one of the central future themes for cities, industry, and critical systems: the systemic handling of water.

The technological basis is in place. Initial projects have been implemented. A mid-sized investor is actively accompanying the next development step with capital, experience, and network.

What's missing now is entrepreneurial leadership with a market and scaling focus.

The Mandate

As CEO, you will take over overall responsibility for RX-WATERTEC. Your task is clear: open up the market, enable growth, align the organization for scaling.

You will lead the company together with the CTO in a co-leadership model and be responsible for strategy, revenue, results, and liquidity. You are not an administrator but a driver.

Tasks

• You develop from a technologically strong setup into a marketable, scalable company.
• You define target markets, positioning, and go-to-market and consistently implement these.
• You build robust sales, partner, and customer structures, particularly in the municipal and infrastructure environment.
• You translate regulatory framework conditions and market demands into clear product and solution decisions.
• You establish steering logics, KPIs, and processes that enable growth and efficiently use capital.
• You are the central interface to investor, advisory board, and strategic partners and are responsible for governance, reporting, and strategic communication.

Qualification

We're looking for an entrepreneurial personality with substance.

• You have already borne responsibility at the highest level or are currently factually in a role where you are responsible for building, scaling, and results.
• You know complex, regulated markets and know how to build trust, prepare decisions, and realize market opening.
• You think in business models
• You can position technology, prioritize it, and position it so that demand, revenue, and scaling arise from it.
• You lead clearly, decisively, and with ownership and stand for results.

Industry-specific water knowledge is helpful but not decisive. What's decisive is your ability to quickly penetrate complexity, build knowledge, and translate it into the market and organization.
