As General Project Leader (m/w/d) Power Plant Construction, you will be responsible for the overall management of a technically challenging project in the energy generation sector. You will steer the implementation across all project phases, lead an interdisciplinary team, and ensure timeliness, cost, and quality targets. In doing so, you will create clear structures, reliable control mechanisms, and a dependable project controlling.

Tasks

• General project leadership for planning, procurement, implementation, and commissioning of large-scale projects in power plant and infrastructure construction
• Steering external planning and execution services according to procurement law and internal guidelines
• Fuelling, coordinating, and developing an interdisciplinary project team as well as steering external partners and service providers
• Ensuring costs, deadlines, and quality, including project controlling and reporting
• Evaluating the project's progress based on defined key figures and deriving control and escalation measures
• Responsibility for compliance with permit requirements, laws, and regulations

Qualification

• Degree in engineering or natural sciences or equivalent qualification
• Mult-year experience in leading complex large-scale projects in power plant construction, infrastructure construction, or comparable technical infrastructure projects
• Solid project management including cost and deadline management as well as interface leadership internally and externally
• Experience in procurement processes and knowledge of contract and building law (e.g. HOAI, VOB, VOL) and relevant regulations
• Sovereign leadership, clear communication, and high prioritization and decision-making security
• Fluent German language skills and confident English language skills
