Gerocaregiver/Nursing Assistant Residential Center

Position offered for a gerocaregiver/nursing assistant in a residential center in Celada del Camino. Temporary contract, 50% working hours and rotating shifts at times from 3 PM to 10 PM, from 6 PM to 9 PM, and from 8 AM to 3 PM. The functions include attending to the daily basic needs of the residents, providing emotional support, assisting in their personal autonomy, and in their integration into the social life of the center. They are also responsible for supervising nutrition and hydration, feeding those who require it, making beds, collecting laundry from rooms, and administering oral medication indicated by nursing (excluding narcotics and other high-risk drugs). They collaborate in care work, coordinate transfers to therapies and activities, and supervise students during internships. Training in Auxiliary Nursing Care, Care for People in Situations of Dependency, or a Sociosanitary Care certificate is required. Minimum experience of six months in a similar position and complementary courses in gerontology or food handling are valued.
