Our client is a major service company headquartered in São Paulo (SP).

Responsibilities and Duties

Reporting to the Board of Directors, this professional will have a strong focus on Consultative Tax Practice. Working extensively with aspects of Tax Reform, they will also be responsible for supporting business decisions related to tax matters, acting as a technical reference in the area. This professional will work to, based on their extensive knowledge of current regulations and their constant updates, identify tax optimization opportunities, mitigating fiscal risks, always in compliance with relevant legal and tax requirements.

Among their main duties are:

• Analyze federal and state legislation and prepare tax studies and opinions related to ICMS, IPI, PIS/COFINS, CIDE, and ISS, ensuring the legal viability of operations.
• Act in the various aspects of Tax Reform;
• Apply, maintain, and renew tax and financial benefits, ensuring their correct use and validity.
• Prepare opinions, tax consultations, and plan operations and support the implementation of changes.
• Map fiscal risks and propose strategies for tax optimization in the supply chain, identifying opportunities.

Qualifications and Previous Experience

• Completed higher education in Accounting Sciences, Law, Economics, Administration, and related areas.
• Postgraduate degree, MBA, or specialization in Tax Law.
• Essential strong knowledge of indirect taxes, with a focus on federal and state tax legislation.
• Essential previous experience of at least 5 years in tax consulting.
• Experience in team management.
