Senior Manager - Cash Office Operations

Role Overview The Senior Manager - Cash Office Operations is accountable for the end-to-end design, implementation, stabilization, and scaling of the centralized Cash Office operating model for Walmart Mexico. This role provides strategic leadership, governance, and risk oversight, ensuring alignment with accounting standards, internal controls, and transformation objectives while enabling significant productivity and savings through standardization and automation. Key Responsibilities • Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive cash office strategy that aligns with business objectives and ensures compliance with accounting standards and internal controls. • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize process improvements, leveraging technology and automation to drive efficiency and reduce costs. • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including finance leaders, business partners, and IT teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration. • Provide strategic guidance and oversight to the cash office operations team, ensuring alignment with company-wide initiatives and objectives. • Ensure the design and implementation of controls and processes that mitigate risks and ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls. • Develop and manage budgets and forecasts for cash office operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with company policies. • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovation and experimentation to drive process improvements and cost savings. • Ensure the development and maintenance of key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics that measure cash office performance and progress towards goals. • Lead the analysis and resolution of complex issues related to cash office operations, leveraging data and analytics to inform decision-making. • Collaborate with IT teams to develop and implement technology solutions that support cash office operations, ensuring alignment with company-wide initiatives and objectives. • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies, including those related to financial reporting, internal controls, and risk management.
