General Manager

General Description

A leading national company with multi-site operations is seeking a General Manager with solid experience in leading plants, distribution centers, and/or business units at the national level.
The role will be responsible for overseeing the Total P&L, profitability, operational efficiency, growth strategy, customer expansion, and corporate process alignment.

The selected person will report directly to the Regional CEO or Board of Directors and will be accountable for ensuring the overall performance of the business, leading operations teams, finance, B2B/B2C sales, supply chain, and human resources.

Strategic Direction (Total P&L)

• Lead the company's general strategy, ensuring profitable growth and annual financial objectives are met.

• Making executive decisions on new business lines, investments, and resource optimization.

• Managing KPIs for profitability, cash flow, productivity, and operational efficiency.

Multisite Operations

• Supervise plants, warehouses, stores, or operating units (3 to 20 sites depending on the client).

• Ensure process standardization, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence.

• Ensure efficient logistics: supply chain, inventory, transportation, and distribution.

Commercial Growth

• Develop and execute strategies to increase national revenue.

• Identify new commercial opportunities (B2B/B2C).

• Cement relationships with key clients.

Leadership and Talent Development

• Manage teams of 200 to 1,200 employees (directs and indirects).

• Develop plant leaders, department heads, and middle managers.

• Strengthen a results-oriented organizational culture.

Innovation and Continuous Improvement

• Implement Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or similar initiatives.

• Optimize costs and efficiencies.

• Promote the digitalization of operational processes.

Stakeholder Relations

• Collaborate with the Board, investors, and corporate teams.

• Prepare executive reports and participate in quarterly reviews.
