Project Manager (Automotive Industry)

Job description

What will be your role?

  • Manage IT, Industrial IT, Automation, and Industry 4.0 technologies (Computer Vision, IIoT, Analytics, Artificial Intelligence) projects with a focus on the industrial sector, ensuring deliveries within the defined deadline, scope, and budget;
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously;
  • Act as a point of contact between the consultancy and clients, ensuring clear communication, expectation management, and strategic alignment;
  • Plan, execute, monitor, and close projects according to established methodologies (traditional and/or agile);
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, co-located or distributed, ensuring productivity and engagement;
  • Prepare schedules, status reports, executive presentations, and project documentation;
  • Identify risks and propose mitigation plans;
  • Support the commercial team in defining technical scope and estimates for new projects;
  • Management and mastery of financial control and results for each project/client;
  • Responsible for the quality of each project and client satisfaction.
  • Control the S-curve of each project;
  • Act as a farmer within the client's organization, seeking new opportunities, projects, and businesses;
  • Ability to influence without formal authority;
  • Ability to communicate with different levels within the client's organization (operational, tactical, and strategic).


We expect you to have:

  • Completed higher education in Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or related areas;
  • MBA in Project Management;
  • Previous experience as a Project Manager in consultancies or technology companies, especially with industrial clients;
  • Knowledge in project management using agile (Scrum, Kanban) and traditional (PMBOK) practices;
  • Familiarity with ERP, MES, SCADA, PIMS, PLC, HMI systems, and other solutions for the industrial sector;
  • Knowledge of the manufacturing industry, preferably automotive;
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills;
  • Certifications such as PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, or similar will be considered a differential;
  • Availability for travel.

  • Certifications (PMP, Scrum, ITIL);
  • Experience in digital transformation;
  • Experience in environments with low maturity;
  • Practical use of technology and AI for productivity gains and operational efficiency;
  • Experience in the Automotive sector;
  • Intermediate/advanced English will be a differential (depending on the clients served);
