The position ensures the fulfillment of production and financial objectives through efficient resource management, interfunctional coordination and a strong commitment to industrial safety, environmental sustainability and continuous improvement.

The Operations Manager is responsible for aligning strategic objectives with floor-level execution, fostering a culture of responsibility and promoting innovation in productive systems to support long-term business success.


Specific Responsibilities

  • Plan and align production with customer demand and line capacity, ensuring efficient and consistent volumes.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through on-time deliveries and defect-free products, maintaining the highest quality standards.
  • Optimize quality, efficiency and utilization of production lines by eliminating waste and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with the 14 Principles of Quality, safety standards and 5S methodology in all productive areas.
  • E nsure correct preparation, execution and approval of internal and external production audits.
  • Plan and control overtime (OPC), repairs and maintenance, internal quality costs (IDC) and miscellaneous expenses, ensuring cost efficiency and budget compliance.
  • Promote and maintain a safe, efficient and collaborative work environment aligned with the Bosch Production System (BPS).
  • E nsure employee development through training, internal regulations compliance, performance evaluations and effective competence management.
  • Lead the MAKE phase of the product supply chain, ensuring efficient planning, execution and delivery.
  • Conduct diagnoses and propose updates or replacements for operational equipment (MAE & EWAK) to ensure reliability and efficiency.
  • Monitor and track supplier deliveries between plants to ensure timely supply and avoid production interruptions.
  • E nsure prompt closure of internal failures and plant-to-plant issues through coordinated corrective and preventive actions.
  • Establish clear and measurable (SMART) objectives for personnel under their supervision, aligned with TIP and Policy Deployment objectives.
  • E nsure compliance with Policy Deployment and achievement of Business Plan objectives through effective execution and follow-up.
  • E nsure fulfillment of financial objectives related to production, maintaining cost control and operational efficiency.
