Materials Manager

OBJECTIVE OF THE POSITION Plan and coordinate the processes of receipt, storage, inventory control, and shipments, ensuring that the flow of materials and finished products is carried out efficiently, accurately, and safely. Ensure that materials are received and stored in optimal conditions, preserved until their use or shipment, and internal and external deliveries are met on time and in form. Optimize human resources, equipment, and spaces to maintain high levels of efficiency, productivity, and quality. Develop and implement strategies for the efficient use of storage space, minimizing waste and maximizing inventory turnover. Coordinate with other departments to ensure that materials are delivered promptly and efficiently. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Analyze and interpret data related to inventory levels, lead times, and supply chain performance to make informed decisions. Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, customers, and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth flow of materials and products. Identify and address potential problems or bottlenecks in the material flow process. Ensure that all activities are carried out in accordance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Develop and implement processes for tracking and monitoring inventory levels, lead times, and supply chain performance.
