Job description
Responsible for the analysis and determination of production costs for the Mexicali plant, also providing financial support to the Plant and Operations Management, as well as the fulfillment of all fiscal, social security, and accounting obligations, correct and timely submission of key operational metrics for decision-making and follow-up.
Responsibilities
- Financial Support to Plant Management.
- Provide manufacturing cost accounting for the plant.
- Administration and budgetary control of assets, operating expenses, support for productivity compliance, and daily financial reports.
- Interaction and teamwork with other functional areas (Human Resources, Operations, Quality, PEAL, Materials, etc.).
- Responsible for compliance with financial reporting standards (Mexican and American).
- Analysis of production costs, as well as advising on them.
- Training and development of staff under their charge, fostering their career development.
- Compliance with the Maquila program.
- Coordinate and execute monthly financial and operational closings, also ensuring compliance with corporate directions.
- Plan, coordinate, present, and execute monthly Forecast.
- Plan, coordinate, present, and execute the Annual Budget, as well as calculate hourly costs by cost centers.
- Responsible for the coordination and execution of fiscal and fiscal security audits (Internal and External).
Requirements
- Degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (Graduated).
- Advanced English.
- Knowledge of ERP SAP.
- More than three years of managerial experience.
- More than five years of experience in manufacturing environments.
- Advanced Excel.
- Availability to travel.
- Valid US visa (essential).
- Ideal knowledge of Six Sigma.
- Ideal knowledge of PowerBI and Tress.
