Export Manager

About our client:

Our client is a strategic partner of a global investment broker, recognized by its international presence, expansion vision, and constant investment in innovation.

In the process of structuring a new area dedicated to Brazil-China export, they are looking for an Export Manager to lead the development of this project from scratch, with specific focus on the poultry market.

Important: The hiring will be made by the partner linked to the broker, and not directly by the broker itself.

Location of work:

Local office located in São Paulo. Availability for national and international travel.

How will your day-to-day be:

• Development of a new export vertical: Act as responsible for structuring and leading the operation of exporting chicken to the Chinese market, from mapping suppliers to commercial routines and compliance.
• Relationship with suppliers and industry: BUILD and strengthen partnerships with poultry farms, processing plants, cooperatives, and other players involved in the protein chain and chicken.
• International negotiation: Conduct commercial negotiations, support export processes, and align expectations with stakeholders in Brazil and China.
• Process management and compliance: Follow documentation, quality routines, certifications, logistics deadlines, and any regulatory demand related to the product.
• Strategic business vision: Identify opportunities, structure processes, suggest improvements, and act directly in building a new area within an international group in expansion.

We need someone with:

• Solid experience in the food industry, preferably in the protein and/or chicken chain.
• Familiarity with exportation, supply chain, sales or operations related to poultry products.
• The position is open to all players in the sector, including cooperatives, poultry farms, and medium-to-large-sized industries (chicken).
• A profile willing to build something from scratch, with strategic vision and a sense of ownership.
• Advanced English, and Mandarin will be a differential, but not mandatory.
