Institutional Controllership Manager

We are looking for a leader for the Institutional Controllership Management, responsible for ensuring financial solidity, information quality, process efficiency, and adherence to best governance practices. The position integrates the areas of Controllership, Finance, Accounting, Budget Planning, Purchasing, Facilities, and Store, in addition to internal controls, compliance, audit, and accountability. Working closely with the Superintendence, Presidency, Fiscal Council, and Board of Directors, this will be a key position to transform data into analyses, anticipate risks, and support strategic decisions with objective scenarios and recommendations.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Conduct budget planning, budget, forecast, and monitoring of actual vs. budgeted, anticipating deviations and coordinating action plans with the areas.
• Ensure financial and treasury management, including cash flow, accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, liquidity, investments, and authority controls.
• Guarantee the quality of accounting and management closings, financial statements, classifications, and adherence to applicable Third Sector regulations.
• Consolidate indicators, dashboards, and executive reports, transforming financial and accounting information into analyses for decision-making.
• Coordinate financial control and accountability for public and private projects, ensuring correct use of resources, documentation, traceability, and adherence to deadlines.
• Strengthen internal controls, compliance, and risk management, ensuring policies, segregation of duties, documented processes, and adherence to institutional norms.
• Lead the interface with internal and external audits, monitoring recommendations, action plans, and resolution of findings.
• Supervise Purchasing, Facilities, and the administrative and financial management of the Institute's Store, ensuring controls, operational efficiency, and adequate management of suppliers and resources.
• Lead and develop the team, establishing priorities, indicators, delivery calendars, and a culture of organization, accountability, and anticipation.
• Prepare and present financial and management information to the Superintendence, Presidency, Board of Directors, and Fiscal Council.
• Participate in Fiscal Council meetings, technically responding to area-specific topics and presenting budget execution, projections, cash flow, risks, and key indicators.
• Anticipate deviations, contingencies, and relevant risks, bringing not only diagnoses but also scenarios, recommendations, and action plans to governance.
• Ensure transparency, integrity, consistency, and traceability of information submitted to governance bodies.

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:

• Completed higher education, preferably in Accounting Sciences, with an active CRC (Conselho Regional de Contabilidade - Regional Accounting Council) registration.
• Postgraduate degree or MBA in Controllership, Finance, Audit, or related areas is desirable.
• Solid experience in leading Controllership, Finance, or related areas.
• Proficiency in budget planning, forecast, cash flow, accounting, internal controls, compliance, risk management, and audit.
• Advanced Excel, knowledge of Power BI, and experience with ERP systems.
• Executive communication, strong analytical skills, systemic vision, organization, autonomy, and results orientation.

IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU HAD:

• Experience in the Third Sector and with accountability for public and private projects.
• Experience in organizations with multiple sources of funds and restricted revenues.
• Experience interacting with the Fiscal Council, Presidency, Board of Directors, or other governance bodies.
• Experience in structuring departments, system implementation, dashboards, and process automation.
